End of Barry

Finally reached the end of barry sanders, all thats left is any changes requested by the client.  We aim to make everyone happy.

Yesterday I worked on refining barry, by creating some more subtle undertones, overall happy with him.

I have worked a little more time on the family pic, at the request of the client.  Overall the painting is decent, the character are more refined creating a more unified look to create a more balanced composition.

Well I have started another commission, my client would like Barry Sanders on a thin piece of board for his man cave.

I 'm thinking this one I might have to do on the floor to keep her flat, he's looking to laminate her or in this case him.  :P

Final Update

I spent a little more time on the family portrait.
The client was worried about the father figure, so I worked on refining him a little bit more.

One more day

I worked another day on the family portrait.  Again, I was not completely satisfied with letting her go yet, hopefully the buyer and recipient will appreciate the pains.  When I start to move in circles and get to the point of almost over do the piece so that tells me to wrap it up.

Family Portrait

I've been working on a commission for a client, a family portrait, the painting is coming along but there is still allot to do.

Putting things aside

Well I've taken on some commissions so my own projects have to be put aside for now.

Slow and steady

Well here is some of the work I have been accomplishing on my piece.  Slow and steady but life gets in the way.  :P

House

Well I have finally moved into my new house and started painting again.  Overall I am just happy to be doing what I love, in a space thats my own.  

So here is the progress.

Debs dinner

Well today I moved around a couple paintings at Debs Dinner (1430 Ottawa St, Windsor) I am finally happy with my seals piece (there are not many I can say that about but happyness is being able to say I am moving on)

Abeaude

Well taking the seals back to my abeaude I decided to work on refining her, some positive steps but were getting to our limits, better to stop now.

I went over today and replaced allot of the paintings at Debs dinner (1430 Ottawa Street) to keep them fresh and different.

Gaining Definition

More work on the family portrait, she is coming and gaining more definition but its a long process.

Well I spent a little more time on the family portrait,

fixing up past mistakes, so it was a good day.

Couple more

I gave a couple more hours to Emily over all NOW I am happy with her.  I hope my client enjoys the extra work.

Wrapping it up

Well today was my last day working on Emily she is to a point I am happy with her.  We will just have to see what the client thinks.  :)

Proportionately

Well I have found I made a couple mistakes with her proportionately so I am currently working no fixing up past mistakes.  This type of set up for the structure of the piece needs to be thought through more carefully.  But new approaches need to be massaged.

Weekend

Well this weekend I did a little more work on Emily, were getting there.

Coming along

Well I worked a little more on my Emily piece, she is coming along slowly but we will get there.

Mapped

Well I am refining emily in blue almost got her roughly mapped out.

My first post of Chris's Emily piece.  She took a little longer to getting this piece stared, as I have decided to try a different approach.  Stay tuned to see the results.  :)

Limits

well I worked spent another day refining my twiggy piece, I think she is in a good place and were reaching the borders of our limits.

Darkened

Well I have darkened the background of this piece, as the client wished, still working on making its pop but still have some semblance of darkness and brooding of this genre.

Tightening

I worked on tightening up my Ziggy Ramerez piece, darkening the tones to create more definition.

Progress

Well I worked more on my twiggy piece, decent progress was made.
