Last day

Last day for fix ups.  Well tonight is the hanging at Phog Lounge, so I have to let go of pearl jam.  I really started to her in shape tonight.  But her public awaits.  :P

Process

Process.  I though this time I might show you guys a little bit of my process.  Here is some more work on pearl jam.

Phog

Well I'm going to be exhibiting at Phog lounge in February.  In preparation for that event, I have started working on another piece.  I like pearl Jam and even if it doesn't sell eventually she will be a piece I'll enjoy.  Its just getting her there that I need to worry about.  

Slowly

Today I had a little time, nothing big but she is coming together, slowly we will get there.

Underwater

Last day paining for a bit it was nice to take a break and get back to it.  Back to the real world now see you soon.

New underwater piece

Well today I started on a new piece.  One of my friends says I need to let go of some of my old pieces (refining them too much)  So I started a brand new composition.  Another day one friend complimented my on my underwater pieces so I though if thats what the public wants, I'll do what I can.

Subtlety and focals

Well picking up the pieces at debs dinner well lets just say I've got allot of work to do.  Getting better as a painter means long hours.  So here is my first attempt.  Were adding a little more subtly to the piece and hopefully more focus to the focals.

Last day of painting

Well one last day of painting, I choose to I work on my christina piece. Small progress but decent work. It was nice to get back to it for a while hope you guys enjoy.

Done or there about's

Well I spent a little more time on the monster high piece, over all I'm happy with her and other things need my attention, so back to work.  Wish me luck.  :P

Hendix

Well I spent a little more time on Hendix piece she is in decent shape, I'm going to leave her for a while.

Summer art fest

Just rotated my paintings that were up at "debs dinner" I also entered 5 pieces into the Artcite's "Summer art fest" Not sure where they will find a home but time to do a little promotion.

I worked on Blue Haze a little more into shape.  She may not be perfect but neither am I.

art nouveau

I worked on the art nouveau piece.  I think I'm going to take a break from her for a while but decent progress has been made.

Koi

I spent a little time on fixing up the kio painting, not sure how much time I'll give but she is a decent position.  

Perfectionism

Before my buyer came by a stole a couple more minutes on the lion.  Perfectionism sometimes is a sickness.  :P

Done.

Well I tightened the arm piece, overall she is finally done.  I'm happy with the piece and the client is so I can finally rest.

Sunday

Well I'm not sure she is completely done but the major work is done.

Commission 2

Well I worked on the commission piece again the client need it done a little early.  So we'll push it, not a bad start so far.

Progress

Well I worked hard on the lion piece.  I'm starting to work without lines to define the image its exciting but also its takes allot longer that way.

Kilt and Fiddle

Well now that I'm done college for the recent future, I figure I'm going to take some time out and paint.  I've asked the owners of the kilt and fiddle if I can paint on their stage this Wednesday - Friday.  Anyone who would like to come down for a pint or conversation I'm always down for that.  The Pub opens at 11am- I'll be there till about 6:30.

Peaceful

I love coming home and zoning out to a painting, it has the ability to put a smile on you face.  

Art nouveau sketch

Well did a little more work on a sketch I was working on.

Resolved

Well I'm resolved if I'm going to teach little kids.  I might as well paint them.  That way I can use them in my portfolio.  So here is my last attempt at wrapping up art nouveau piece.

Subtle

Well I did a little work on my dolphins piece working on making her more subtle.  It a step in the right direction,  compared to my over emphasis on contrast, but were working on those tendencies.  emphasis

Kilt and Fiddle: 18th, 19th, and 20th

I will be painting again at the Kilt and Fiddle, on the 18th 19th, and 20th of next week.  Anyone that feels like a pint please feel free to join me.  Company is all ways a welcome thing.

Stare

Well I'm not sure how much more time I'm going to give this piece.  I need to start some work on a piece for the kilt and fiddle, almost time to paint downtown again :)

Expression

Well I've drawn another child photo.  This I think worked out better in terms of subject matter or the expression of the subject.

Pink

Well tonight was the last night at Mick's (the new Kilt and Fiddle).  I feel like I got some decent work done.  I believe through this opportunity there were many small steps forward in regards to my portraiture and technique.  In that regard, this moment I feel good and proud of my accomplishments.  So, now its back to the work of getting ready for placement, here is hoping for the best.  

Irene

Blueness

Well today was a small step forward for me.  I've finally gotten over my fear of covering the whole canvas.  We still have a ways to go but, at-least she is starting to take shape.

Subtle

Well I'm finally done my ape piece. She's not perfect but I'm happy with her progress and some of the subtle undertones I've been working on really create a softer impression.  Now I can start some work on designing some work I intend to work on at the Kilt and Fiddle.  I'm thinking a nice rock band always a crowd pleaser.      

Legal

Because of legal reasons I've had to call back my pieces at ivy.  It's just not in my best intrests right now to make that move.  I wish everyone luck, I hope they do well, its a great idea that people should get involved in if they can, I hope you all will support them in getting off the ground.

Reading week

Well again no new work yet, but with reading week almost here for us college students, I'm going to give myself a day to paint, can't go to crazy with exams looming but a little rest never hurt anyone.

No sure what but thats part of the surprise I guess.  So here are some old pieces till then.
