Well I finished hanging my stuff at the co-op.  I had a few holes to fill so I sketch painted a few small ones.  Let me know what you think?

yesterday worked my first shit at the co-op it was nice I was able to talk with some fellow artists and work on a new piece.  She is a small one but with

a promising beginning. 

Sculpture

Well today was working on and old piece.  I changed her colours alot though, see what you think.

I worked on the ape's again, but I think I need to take a break from it not sure if its an improvement, maybe I will go back to monocromatic, or maybe I will scrap it not sure going to sit on it for a while.

Too Heavy

Well today was a flop.  I worked on my sculpture painting and parts of the sculpture came off (too heavy).  So I began sticking them back on long story short.  Learn to selectively create this effect, not soo much so that you begin to dig your self in a hole.

But it give a nice effect.  :)

The past couple of days I have been woking on re-tooling my website.

Today was an experiment, I am combining a little sculpture with painting, overall it seams to be working but she is a messy buisness, but one that might work in my favor.  :)

Today was work on chere to make her ready for the walkerville artist co-op.  I started to other pieces.  Hanging at the co-op is in November gotta get ready.

Domain Purchase

 Now all I have to do is bring her into a more professional stance (by ironing out her rough edges.)

I am excited my business card is getting a revamp with my new phone number and domain.

I am starting a workshop though boost 

Learning what it is to feel: Is an 8 week program, 1 day a week commitment for 8 week duration.  After 8 weeks there will be a convergence with ‘boost’ partners for a duration of 4 weeks.

The program is adaptable to participant group size 10-12

The theme of the work shop is about showing people how we are all artists, in our own way, some may use different tools but it’s about taping into our creative side.  Creating community by talking together about our art.  We will use collaboration to collectively work on a project together and being aware that we all have something of value to give whether it’s a word of encouragement or a thought that is unexpected.

Back to the turtle

Time to work on the turtle again, I have her to a place of contentness, so very soon she will be displayed at debs dinner.  Once hang her and bring her on foot to the site.

Turtle project

The new turtle project.  Well I am attempting to re do my turtle, given that it has been several years since my last one I hope I have improved well its time to test my metal.  :)

Finally reached the end of barry sanders, all thats left is any changes requested by the client.  We aim to make everyone happy.

I have worked a little more time on the family pic, at the request of the client.  Overall the painting is decent, the character are more refined creating a more unified look to create a more balanced composition.

Well I have started another commission, my client would like Barry Sanders on a thin piece of board for his man cave.

I 'm thinking this one I might have to do on the floor to keep her flat, he's looking to laminate her or in this case him.  :P

Final Update

I spent a little more time on the family portrait.
The client was worried about the father figure, so I worked on refining him a little bit more.

One more day

I worked another day on the family portrait.  Again, I was not completely satisfied with letting her go yet, hopefully the buyer and recipient will appreciate the pains.  When I start to move in circles and get to the point of almost over do the piece so that tells me to wrap it up.

I've been working on a commission for a client, a family portrait, the painting is coming along but there is still allot to do.
